Jerusalem - Jødedom - Kristendom - Islam
Af John Strange
This book is in Danish.
Jerusalem - Judaism - Christianity - Islam have, during the last century, been object to a continuingly bitter conflict. This conflict stands between two people, Palestinians on the one side and Jewish immigrants on the other side, who fight over the city while the rest of the world support one side or try to be neutral. The roots of the conflict go back to the 1st millenium BC. This book tries to account for the city's history from the 3rd millenium BC until 1967, and also tries to explain why Jerusalem is a holy city for three world religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
