Sceneskift

By Stig Jarl

This book is in Danish.

Edited by Alette Scavenius and Stig Jarl. "Sceneskift" is an anthology written by Danish theater researchers mainly from the universities of Copenhagen and Aarhus. In 21 articles European theater of the 20th century is portrayed. The book does not claim to be a comprehensive description of the epoch, but a number of individual delvings into areas, which the writers ahve found to be interesting. "Sceneskift" treats both the experimental and the established theater. The book focuses on both actor, instructor, scenegrapher and also treats aspects of politics on theater and culture. "Sceneskift" is published as a tribute to Kela Kvam on the occasion of her 70th birthday, where she retired as a professor at Theater Science, University of Copenhagen.
